Today is my birthday, and I'm spending the morning with my bestest gal, Kate. That's her hairbrush, she's brushing my hair (although it's more like getting smacked in the head - but that's okay with me). Today's festivities include a special lunch with my Mom and Stepdad, and a night out on the town with my hubby, a great birthday all around!
What an incredible year it's been, going from full time career gal to suburban stay-at-home momma. Yeah, there were some trying times, but it has been unbelievable to spend this time at home with baby Kathryn. I wouldn't trade this past year for anything.
So, here I am, full steam ahead into my forties, and I'm having the best time of my life. That's right young'uns, there's life after 40!
