Thrifting Luck: Vintage Bernina
I just brought this home from the thrift store and snapped this picture before I even got it out of the car! I have a sneaking suspicion that it might need work, but even if I can't fix her, she'll look mighty fine sitting up on a shelf in my sewing room! Yes, today is my lucky day!

Whoa! You lucky ducky! Isn't thrift-shopping and flea-marketing and yard-saleing fun? I always find something I don't need, but just have to buy. Of course, I already have 10 sewing machines - is that really too many?
WOW! You've been hitting the thrift/dumpster jackpot lately! Way to go!
That little girl is sure pretty and I bet she sews real nice too.
She sews, but needs a little bit of work; some rewiring, cleaning, oiling, fine tuning, and I have to try and track down the missing knee-lift lever and a few extra accessories. Can't wait to really sit and sew on this baby!
Berninas never stop working! My mom uses them (for years) and I have one w/ an embroidery module! Love it!
