Moving on!

We just moved, and I've spent the last four days digging out from a huge pile of boxes. I found the box with the modem and wireless router just yesterday, and spent the evening catching up with emails and my Google Reader. I still have to find my cameras and cords, and I'm not even sure where that box is in the mountain of moving mahem down in the basement.

Although the house is only somewhat unpacked and organized it already feels a lot like home. And the best part of all is that we did find a space that will (eventually) be my sewing space. It is part of the unfinished basement, and we are not in any position to do any construction or large scale upgrades, but it is clean, mostly dry, and a place to call my own.

So as soon as things get a little more combobulated and settled down I can get back to sewing! Until then I hope you all have weathered the recent storms and flooding and are well.

Happy stitching!

A Day With Aprons

I just gave my apron lecture to a group of local ladies.

It's been awhile since I gave the apron lecture and got all my lovielies out of storage to share.

Any day spent with aprons is a good day, and I always have fun talking shop and sharing stories!

Now I can't wait to do it again!
