I had sewn and still have a Babylock Ellisimo but I had ventured onto the Bernina website with all the online classes and projects and I was sold. I have a couple of older Vikings and a Singer (my husband uses the Viking 1100, it's a workhorse). I'm in a basement, but it's a walk-out so there is plenty of light from the windows and patio door.
