Yes, it is an adorable machine. It does NOT sew well at all, and the chainstitch made by this machine is not nearly as strong as the lockstitch made by modern machines. :(Erika Mulvennahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15819965592532896464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5403152087632739855.post-84446146829884105082016-10-26T08:16:12.863-05:002016-10-26T08:16:12.863-05:00It's adorable! It looks much sturdier and the stitch looks much nicer than those modern portable plastic machines I've seen around.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04221161415797619084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5403152087632739855.post-37549408876533819732016-08-03T09:36:33.506-05:002016-08-03T09:36:33.506-05:00Hi Colleen, that's great! I think your best bet might be to measure the existing needle carefully and search for a replacement online. I think a lot more thought went into how this toy looks than how it actually works! I was wondering if you would mind posting or emailing me pics of the inside of the manual so I can see what sort of needles I would need to find, as well as identifying any other missing parts? I am hoping for my 8 year old to be able to eventually use it, but Colleennoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5403152087632739855.post-20068714855619049812016-02-19T10:35:42.865-06:002016-02-19T10:35:42.865-06:00Thanks Cheryl!
