WTF Included in New Exhibit - "Aftershock: The Long Shadow of 2020"
Good news, everyone! My quilt is included in the new International Quilt Museum's exhibit, Aftershock: The Long Shadow of 2020.
The exhibit focuses on works created during the period from 2020 to 2021 that reflect the underlying reaction to global events. I've already heard from folks visiting the exhibit in person that it is an emotional and impactful reminder of those days, and how those times still affect us. See the exhibit now through January 10, 2026.

Visit the official Aftershock exhibit page at the IQM website here for more information, photos of the complete exhibit, and a fantastic 3D virtual gallery. Read on for a full list (with links) of artists included in the Aftershock group exhibit.
I started work on this quilt in 2020 as a reaction to everything happening in the world: social injustice, the pandemic, shelter-in-place orders, and being cut from my part-time job. It's just the phrase that continually ran through my head, sometimes multiple times a day.
I shared my progress and process on the piece on my blog, and you can read more about it here.
I'm so honored to have my work exhibited alongside a group of incredibly talented artists, listed below. I did my best to track down a website, blog, or other online info about each artist - if I missed something, please let me know so I can update the links.
