Testing, testing, 1 - 2 - 3

I'm still working on this little "test" piece before moving on to something larger.

It's a way to test of some different ideas I have, and I'm almost finished with the first part of this piece.

Now it's on to part two of this test - more cutting, more sewing, and more pressing. I hope, when this all comes together, that it all works. But that's what making little tests like this are for, right?
